| The
fishing village STRANDBY, lies 5 km north of Frederikshavn and 2 km
east of the main road to Skagen. Here you can
find a unique atmosphere, yet to be reached by mass tourism. Just 2
min from the harbour and 5 min from the beach, in the old quarter of
Strandby, is Kirkevej 5 situated, an old fisherman’s house in the
traditional Skagen style from 1897, with an extension from 1975. This was
originally built as an artist’s studio. In the extension there is a 30m2
double room, table for 4 and
with a door out to the patio and conservatory with a lot of flowers.
Upstairs a 18m2 3-beds room. North of the harbour lies one of Denmark’s best and child
friendliest bathing beaches. Take a walk on the harbour and experience an exiting and living environment, you can also visit the auction at 7 am all workdays. |
