Not far from the beautiful Guldborgsund is
the small cosy village, Majbølle.
With village pond, church, mill and the old village, Majbølle represents one of the most Danish to meet. The old school, dates back to 1916. The place ceased as school in 1968, and was in 1990 rebuilt and modernised, and has since been an attractive accommodation for tourists. It offers good Danish food in the old school room, and there is the opportunity to enjoy yourselves in the nostalgic decorated sitting rooms or in the pleasant patio. The event has been a success and many satisfied guests have written in the guestbook. Majbølle is the perfect starting point for many tourist trips, and there are many options: Knuthenborg Safari Park, Møns Klint and Outdoor Museum in Maribo.
